Source quote and limits
“They finished the course, which included having to scale 8ft high walls, in 14 minutes and nine seconds.”
BBC Sport page last updated Saturday 8 July 2006, 13:54 GMT, so the run was on 8 July 2006 (a Hello! photo caption says Sunday; the same-day BBC timestamp rules that out). 'They' is the first group, led by the commandant, with William and Colin Jackson; Get Surrey (same event) says 'They finished the circuit, which included an obstacle course, in 14min 9sec.' Hello! (2006-07-09) gives 'a respectable 14 minutes' for William. The time is the first group's finish, so it is William's time only as a member of that group. A mile run plus an assault course: it does not compare with a plain mile. Separate feat from the existing 2004 Sport Relief London Mile (6:10). Page opened with curl (WebFetch blocks news.bbc.co.uk).
