Contador shared a photo of his SRM head unit on Instagram (2018-07-11) with '458w avg 62kg'; road.cc reports it and gives 61.6 kg. He does not say which year; he won the Tour in 2007 and 2009, so the date is the last year of that range. A second test in the same photo: 454 W. The 435 W (7.06 W/kg) FTP figure is worked out from this value and is not a record. Found through a Gemini Deep Research report (batch of 2026-10-30).
